FAQ

All cloud-based applications rely on internet connectivity, but with a hosted PBX solution, when you lose your broadband connection your communication infrastructure remains available. In other words, your internet connection is no longer a single point of failure. When your PBX (PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange and dates back to the days of switchboard operators and refers to an organization’s telephone exchange) resides in the cloud, you’re provided with a plethora of call routing options. For example, our cloud-based PBX includes features like find-me-follow-me, voicemail to email, and all calls have the ability to be automatically forwarded and routed to virtually any person, device, or location. Plus, we’ll architect a redundant broadband solution with multiple seamless internet connections, cutting your costs.

What experiences led you to this conclusion?

When implemented properly, a hosted PBX (meaning the VoIP and PBX are hosted at an off-site location from where the VoIP is being used) solution is more reliable than a premise-based solution, as it can scale to meet your business’s evolving needs, and provides the benefits that traditional phone systems cannot match. Hosted PBX also reduces the capital expenditure of a new phone system, safeguarding it against technological obsolescence, broadband failures and natural disasters.

There is no need to change your number, we will ‘port’ your existing number/s over to our platform.

Down time is a matter of minutes. All hardware is set up, installed, tested and run in parallel with your existing system. Once the numbers have been ported, changing to the new system is literally at the click of a switch.

We supply top quality, commercial hardware from Yealink, Polycom and Cisco that will be hard to resist. However, if you do not want to invest in new telephones and your existing hardware is supported by our platform there is no need to buy new equipment. If you are on a PSTN and would prefer not to replace your existing handset, the move to VoIP is achieved through the installation of SIP Trunking.
